Biography
Nobu Kanaoka is a Japanese actress and costume designer. Born in 1959, she is known for her frequent collaborations with director Shinya Tsukamoto on his early independent films.
She appeared in The Adventure of Denchu-Kozo (1987) as Sariba Sensei / Momoko, for which she also designed costumes, and as Woman in Glasses in Tetsuo: The Iron Man (1989), on which she also worked in the production department. Her other credits include Tetsuo II: Body Hammer (1992), Tokyo Fist (1995) and A Blue Automobile (2004).
