Biography
Noel Pearson is an Irish film and theatrical producer from Dublin. He began his career as a stage agent and producer of musicals before becoming artistic director of the Abbey Theatre. He founded Ferndale Films in 1987.
Pearson produced the 1989 film My Left Foot: The Story of Christy Brown, which received five Academy Award nominations including Best Picture. He also produced The Field (1990), Frankie Starlight (1995), Dancing at Lughnasa (1998), Tara Road (2005) and The Secret Scripture (2016). His stage productions include several Broadway shows such as Dancing at Lughnasa and An Inspector Calls.
