Biography
Nora Mendis is a production designer whose credits include the feature films Nickel Boys (2024), Passing (2021) and Topside (2020). She has also served as production designer on television series such as Kindred (2022), Random Acts of Flyness (2022) and Betty (2020–2021).
She trained in experimental film at art school and initially worked in the art department, progressing from set decorator on titles including Listen Up Philip (2014), Jamie Marks Is Dead (2014), Child of God (2014) and Skate Kitchen (2018). Mendis has received awards and nominations for her production design, including a Chlotrudis Award for Passing and Black Reel recognition for Nickel Boys and other projects.
