Biography

Nora Navas is a Spanish actress who has worked in film, television and theatre. Born on 24 April 1975 in Barcelona, she trained at the Institut del Teatre in the city and began her screen career with the 1999 film Un banc al parc.

She is known for her leading role as Florència in Black Bread (2010), for which she received the Silver Shell for Best Actress at the San Sebastián International Film Festival, the Gaudí Award and the Goya Award. Navas played Mercedes in Pedro Almodóvar’s Pain and Glory (2019) and has appeared in other notable films including Mirage (2018), Adú (2020) and Libertad (2021). She has also featured in Catalan television series such as those produced for TV3.
