Biography
Norm Gunzenhauser is an American television writer and producer. He graduated from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and began his career as a page at NBC Studios in New York from 1978 to 1980.
Gunzenhauser wrote for Newhart (1986–1988) and served as a writer and producer on Murphy Brown (1988), contributing episodes across multiple seasons including the 2018 revival. He won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series as a producer on the show in 1990 and received a nomination in 1989.
His other credits include writing and producing work on Hannah Montana (2006), All Grown Up! (2003), Raven's Home (2017) and various other sitcoms. From 2008 to 2016 he worked in Moscow adapting American series for the Russian market and co-created the series The 80's.
