Biography
Norma Heyman is a British film producer. She produced the 1983 independent film The Honorary Consul, becoming the first British woman to produce an independent feature film entirely on her own. In 1988 she produced Dangerous Liaisons with Hank Moonjean; the film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture.
Her other credits include Buster (1988), Sister My Sister (1994), Mary Reilly (1996), The Secret Agent (1996), Gangster No. 1 (2000) and Mrs. Henderson Presents (2005). She co-produced the television film The Thirteenth Tale (2013) with her son David Heyman. She was one of the founders of Women in Film and Television UK.
