Biography
Odette Talazac (also credited as Odette Pauline Talazac) was a French actress and singer. She was born on 6 May 1883 in Paris and died there on 29 March 1948.
She began her career singing in music halls before moving into theatre and film. She was the daughter of tenor Jean-Alexandre Talazac and soprano Hélène Fauvelle, and married jeweller Georges Aucoc in 1900 in Chatou.
Talazac appeared in numerous French films of the 1930s and 1940s. She is known for her roles in The Rules of the Game (1939) as Madame de la Plante, The Blood of a Poet (1932), The Crime of Monsieur Lange (1936) as the concierge's wife, Le Million (1931) as La cantatrice, and The Murderer Lives at Number 21 (1942) as Madame Point.
