Biography
Ola Rapace is a Swedish actor. Born Pär Ola Norell on 3 December 1971 in Tyresö, he studied at the Theatre Academy of the University of Gothenburg and philosophy at the University of Montpellier in France.
His screen debut was as Lasse in the 2000 film Together. He had a breakthrough as Jan 'Hoffa' Lenhoff in the television series Tusenbröder (2002) and played Stefan Lindman in Wallander (2005). He is known internationally for the role of Patrice in Skyfall (2012), Major Gibson in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017) and Bloodhair in The Last Kingdom (2018). He was married to actress Noomi Rapace from 2001 to 2011.
