Biography
Ole Thestrup (1948–2018) was a Danish actor. He trained at Aarhus Theatre, completing his acting education there in 1976, and went on to work in theatre, film and television.
Thestrup appeared in numerous Danish films, including several directed by Anders Thomas Jensen: Election Night (1998), Flickering Lights (2000), The Green Butchers (2003), Adam's Apples (2005) and Men & Chicken (2015). He had a recurring role across all three series of the political drama Borgen (2010–2013) as the right-wing politician Svend Åge Saltum. His other notable credits include Ronal the Barbarian (2011) and Small Town Killers (2017).
