Biography
Olga Georges-Picot (6 January 1940 – 19 June 1997) was a French actress. Born in Shanghai, China, she was the daughter of diplomat Guillaume Georges-Picot and a Russian mother. She studied acting at the Actors Studio in Paris and was a great-niece of diplomat François Georges-Picot.
She appeared in French and English-language films and on television from the 1960s to the 1980s. Her breakthrough role was as Catrine in Alain Resnais’s Je t'aime, je t'aime (1968). She played Denise in The Day of the Jackal (1973), Countess Alexandrovna in Love and Death (1975), and Julia Anderson in The Man Who Haunted Himself (1970). Other credits include Farewell, Friend (1968) and Emmanuelle 3 (1977). She was married to painter and actor Jean Sobieski from 1966 to 1968.
