Biography
Oliver Cheesman is a British cinematographer and director of photography. Born in October 1956, he began his career in the camera and electrical department on productions including the feature Orphans (1998) and Small Faces (1995).
He has worked extensively on British and Scottish television, serving as director of photography on Burnistoun (pilot and series 2–3, 2009–2012), multiple episodes of Rab C. Nesbitt (2008–2011), Sea of Souls (2004–2006), River City (2020–2025) and other series such as Millie Inbetween (2014) and Princess Mirror-Belle (2021).
