Biography

Olivier Mauffroy was a French film editor. Born in Clichy, Hauts-de-Seine, he began his career in the mid-1970s as a trainee and assistant editor, working on films including The Wing or the Thigh? (1976) and Subway (1985).

He edited Luc Besson’s The Big Blue (1988) and Nikita (1990). For the latter he received a César Award nomination for Best Editing. Mauffroy continued to edit features and television productions through the 2000s. He died in 2013.
