Biography
Omar Leyva is a Mexican-American actor. He began his professional on-screen career in 2006, following work on the stage.
Leyva played Señor Diaz in the film McFarland, USA (2015). His television credits include roles in Grey's Anatomy (as Luis Rivera), Lucifer (as Lalo Vasquez), Scorpion (as Officer Vega) and Modern Family (as Map Seller). Film roles include appearances in Pineapple Express (2008), Bone Tomahawk (2015) and Truth or Dare (2018).
He received an Imagen Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his work in the HBO film Icebox (2018). Other credits include Bardo: False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths (2022) and Windfall (2022).
