Biography
Omi Vaidya is an American actor of Indian descent. Born on 10 January 1982 in Yucca Valley, California, he was raised in the area and studied at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, the University of California, Santa Cruz, and the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
He is best known for playing Chatur Ramalingam, nicknamed 'Silencer', in the 2009 film 3 Idiots. Vaidya has also appeared in American television series including The Office (2005) as Sadiq, Arrested Development (2003) as Rav Nadir, Bones (2005) and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000). He has directed short films and worked as an editor.
