Biography
Ophir Leibovitch is an Israeli film composer. He composed the score for Foxtrot (2017), for which he received the Ophir Award for best music. He has also scored films including Magic Men (2014), A Place in Heaven (2013) and The Unorthodox (2018).
Leibovitch has received the ACUM Award for best original composer for television and film in 2012 and the Haggiag Best Music Award at the Jerusalem International Film Festival in 2015 for the documentary Strung Out. He is a three-time Ophir Award nominee and has composed scores for films screened at festivals including Venice, Berlinale and Tribeca. He is one of the founders of the Israeli band The Tractor's Revenge.
