Biography
Oren Koules is an American film producer and entrepreneur. He co-founded Evolution Entertainment with Mark Burg in 1998 and, through its subsidiary Twisted Pictures, produced the Saw horror film series from the original 2004 film through Saw X (2023).
Koules also served as executive producer on the CBS series Two and a Half Men (2003–2012). Earlier in his career he worked in production at Paramount Pictures and produced films including John Q (2002). A former professional ice hockey player, he later owned the Tampa Bay Lightning NHL team.
In 2025 Koules sold his rights to the Saw franchise. He has since formed Koulest Productions with his son Miles Koules and signed a multi-picture deal with Paramount Pictures, with Trust (2025) as the first release under the agreement.
