Biography
Otto Hoffman was an American actor who appeared in nearly 200 films between 1915 and 1944. He began his career on stage, with Broadway credits including A Broken Idol (1909), The Spring Maid (1910) and The Strange Woman (1913), and also worked in stock theatre.
His screen roles were often uncredited character parts. He appeared in The Eagle (1925), Cimarron (1931), Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933), Mad Love (1935), Foreign Correspondent (1940), Ball of Fire (1941), Stranger on the Third Floor (1940), The Ghost of Frankenstein (1942), The Mummy's Tomb (1942) and This Land Is Mine (1943).
