Biography

Paco Cabezas is a Spanish film and television director and screenwriter. He began his career in the early 2000s with Spanish-language projects, including writing and directing the horror film The Appeared (2007) and the action comedy Neon Flesh (2010).

Cabezas made his American feature debut with the action film Rage (2014), starring Nicolas Cage, followed by the romantic action comedy Mr. Right (2015). He has since directed episodes of numerous television series, including Penny Dreadful (2016), Into the Badlands (2015–2017), Fear the Walking Dead (2017), American Gods (2017), The Umbrella Academy (2019–2024), The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon (2023–2025) and Wednesday (2025).

Born in the Seville area of Spain, Cabezas continues to work on both Spanish and international productions.
