Biography
Pamela Norris is an American screenwriter and producer. She began her career writing for the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 1980 to 1984. She later wrote episodes for series including Remington Steele (1985), Miami Vice (1987) and Ghost Whisperer (2010), and co-wrote the screenplay for the 1989 film Troop Beverly Hills.
Norris served as a producer on Designing Women (1989–1992), for which she received Emmy nominations, and was executive producer of The Huntress (2000–2001). She created the series The Simple Life (1998). She was educated at Harvard College.
