Biography
Pankaj Tripathi is an Indian actor who works primarily in Hindi films and television. He trained at the National School of Drama in Delhi, graduating in 2004, after earlier studies at the Institute of Hotel Management in Hajipur.
Tripathi first appeared in minor film roles in the mid-2000s. His breakthrough came with the supporting part of Sultan Qureshi in Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1 (2012). He has since appeared in films including Masaan (2015), Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Newton (2017) and Stree (2018), and in series such as Sacred Games (2018) and Mirzapur (2018). For his work in Newton, he received a National Film Award – Special Mention.
