Biography

Paolo Barzman is a French-Canadian film and television director and writer. He is the son of blacklisted screenwriters Ben Barzman and Norma Barzman, and grew up largely in Cannes after his parents left the United States during the McCarthy era.

His television directing credits include episodes of Highlander: The Series, Relic Hunter, Lost Girl, Haven, Being Human (2011), Wynonna Earp and SurrealEstate. He also directed the feature film Emotional Arithmetic (2007).

Barzman won a Gemini Award for his direction of an episode of 15/Love and received nominations for other work including Being Human.
