Biography
Paolo Pierobon is an Italian actor born on 13 January 1967 in Castelfranco Veneto. After completing his scientific secondary education, he trained at the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan, graduating in 1992. He has maintained an active theatre career, with notable collaborations including work with directors Luca Ronconi and Mario Martone, and has received awards such as the Ubu Prize and Le Maschere del Teatro Italiano.
In film and television, Pierobon has appeared in roles including Silvio Berlusconi in the series 1993 and 1994, Pope Pius IX in Kidnapped (2023), Gabriele D’Annunzio in The King of Laughter (2021), and Giulio Andreotti in The Great Ambition (2024). He reprised the role of Gabriele D’Annunzio in the series Mussolini: Son of the Century (2025). He won a Nastro d’Argento for best supporting actor for his performance in Kidnapped.
