Biography

Park Jung-hoon (also credited as Park Jung-hun or 박정훈) is a South Korean cinematographer and film director. He began working in the film industry in 2002 as a member of the camera crew on Im Kwon-taek's Chihwaseon and made his debut as director of photography on Snow Paths (2015).

Park gained international recognition for his cinematography on the action thriller The Villainess (2017), directed by Jung Byung-gil, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. He has also served as director of photography on films including Door Lock (2018), Herstory (2018), Voice of Silence (2020), Yanagawa (2021), Mission: Cross (2024) and the series Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021). For The Villainess he received Best Cinematography awards at the Buil Film Awards and Grand Bell Awards.
