Biography
Parker Bennett is an American screenwriter. He wrote the screenplays for Mystery Date (1991) and Super Mario Bros. (1993), the latter with Terry Runté. He also contributed additional story and dialogue to The Thief and the Cobbler (1993) and wrote one episode of the television series Sweet Valley High (1996).
Bennett was born in Evanston, Illinois. Before his screenwriting career he worked as an advertising art director for Leo Burnett USA and contributed writing and cartoons to Playboy and National Lampoon.
