Biography
Pasquale Aleardi is a Swiss actor born on 1 June 1971 in Dietikon near Zürich. He trained at the Zurich University of the Arts from 1992 to 1995. While still a student he took the lead role in the Swiss feature film Jazz (1994). After early stage work in Germany, including at the Berliner Theatertreffen, he moved into film and television.
Aleardi is known for playing J.D. in Resident Evil (2002). He later took the lead role of Tommaso in the Swiss television production Gotthard (2016), for which he received the Swiss Television Award for Best Actor in 2017. He has appeared in numerous German and Swiss film and television productions, including the long-running series Kommissar Dupin, and performed as Billy Flynn in the Broadway production of Chicago.
