Biography
Pat Moran, also credited as Patricia Moran and Patricia Moran Yeaton, is an American casting director, producer and occasional actress based in Baltimore. She began working with director John Waters in the mid-1960s and has been a member of his regular ensemble, the Dreamlanders, appearing in every one of his films alongside Mink Stole and Mary Vivian Pearce.
Moran acted in early Waters productions including Mondo Trasho (1969), Multiple Maniacs (1970) and Pink Flamingos (1972), in which she played Patty Hitler. She later served as associate producer and casting director on several of his features, among them Hairspray (1988), Cry-Baby (1990) and Serial Mom (1994). She has also cast numerous Baltimore-shot films and television series, including Enemy of the State (1998), Red Dragon (2002), Something the Lord Made (2004) and He's Just Not That Into You (2009).
Moran has won three Primetime Emmy Awards for outstanding casting, for the series Homicide: Life on the Street and the television films Game Change (2012) and Veep (2015).
