Biography

Patricia Falkenhain (1926–2004) was an American actress whose screen credits include the role of Charlie's Secretary in Something Wild (1986), Dinner Party Hostess in Heartburn (1986) and Woman in the House in The House on Carroll Street (1988). She also appeared in The End of August (1981) as Mme. Lebrun and in television productions including episodes of Tanner '88 (1988) and American Playhouse (1987).

Falkenhain had an extensive stage career, appearing in numerous Broadway and Off-Broadway productions. Her credits include The House of Blue Leaves (1986), Once a Catholic (1979) and revivals of Hamlet (1961), She Stoops to Conquer (1960) and Henry IV, Part II (1960). She won three Obie Awards for her work with the Phoenix Theatre.

She was married to actor Robert Gerringer from 1950 until his death in 1989.
