Biography
Patricia Green is an American television writer and producer, also credited as Patricia M. Green. She wrote episodes of Cagney & Lacey and served as a producer on the series, winning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series in 1985 for the episode "Who Said It's Fair" (Part II) and a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series in 1986.
She later worked as a supervising producer and writer on China Beach, winning a Humanitas Prize in 1989, and as a writer and supervising producer (later executive producer) on L.A. Law. Green developed the series Christy (1994–1995) and contributed as a writer and producer on Chicago Hope. Her other writing credits include episodes of Eight Is Enough, North and South (1985) and The District.
