Biography
Patricia Mazuy is a French film director and screenwriter. Born in 1960 in Dijon, she began her career as an editor, working on Agnès Varda's Vagabond (1985).
Her debut feature, Peaux de vaches (1989), screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival and received a César nomination for Best First Feature. Subsequent films include Saint-Cyr (2000), also at Cannes Un Certain Regard; Sport de filles (2011); Paul Sanchez est revenu! (2018); Bowling Saturne (2022); and La Prisonnière de Bordeaux (2024). She has also directed television films and episodes, including Travolta et moi (1993). In 2025 she served on the jury for the First Feature Competition at the Locarno Film Festival.
