Biography
Patricia Riggen is a Mexican film and television director. She was born on 2 June 1970 in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Riggen studied communication sciences at ITESO in Guadalajara and later earned a master's degree in directing and screenwriting at Columbia University in New York. She began her career in journalism and documentary writing in Mexico before moving into directing short films while at Columbia.
Her feature films include Under the Same Moon (2007), Lemonade Mouth (2011), The 33 (2015), Miracles from Heaven (2016) and G20 (2025). She has also directed episodes of television series including Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2018) and Dopesick (2021).
