Biography
Patrick Marron Ball is an American actor. He was born on 10 November 1989 in Summerfield, North Carolina. He attended Northwest Guilford High School and studied at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro before training at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University, from which he received a Certificate in Drama in 2022 (later converted to an MFA).
Ball made his television debut in 2023 as Jason Wheeler in an episode of Law & Order. He is known for playing Dr. Frank Langdon in the series The Pitt (2025–present). He has also appeared in theatre, including the role of Prince Hamlet in a 2025 production at the Mark Taper Forum, and made his Broadway debut in Becky Shaw. He received nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award and the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
