Biography
Patrick Marc Hanenberger is a production designer working primarily in animation. He studied industrial and graphic design at the University of Michigan and transportation design at ArtCenter College of Design, graduating in 2003.
Hanenberger served as production designer on Rise of the Guardians (2012) and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part (2019). He received an Annie Award nomination for production design on the former. His earlier credits include visual development and concept art roles on films such as Over the Hedge (2006), Monsters vs. Aliens (2009) and 2012 (2009). He is attached as production designer to the forthcoming High in the Clouds (2027) and The Lunar Chronicles (2028).
