Biography
Patrick Muldoon (born William Patrick Muldoon III, 27 September 1968 – 19 April 2026) was an American actor, film producer and musician. Born in San Pedro, California, he played tight end for the USC Trojans football team, winning two Rose Bowl rings, before beginning a modelling career with Wilhelmina and Calvin Klein.
He originated the role of Austin Reed on the NBC soap Days of Our Lives (1992–1995, reprised 2011–2012) and played Richard Hart on Melrose Place. Muldoon appeared as Zander Barcalow in the 1997 film Starship Troopers and in later features including Stigmata (1999), The Comeback Trail (2020) and Marlowe (2022). He also worked as a producer on several films and released music.
