Biography
Patrick St. Esprit is an American character actor. He was born on 18 May 1954 in California and trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. He made his screen debut in 1982 in an episode of the series Police Squad! and has since appeared in numerous films and television series, often in authoritative or military roles.
He is known for his performances as Romulus Thread in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013), Elliott Oswald in Sons of Anarchy (2008–2014), Captain Phillip Santos in War Dogs (2016) and Commander Robert 'Bob' Hicks in S.W.A.T. (2017–2025). He reprised the role of Hicks in the series S.W.A.T. Exiles (2026). Other credits include The Fate of the Furious (2017) and Independence Day: Resurgence (2016).
