Biography
Patrik Andrén is a Swedish composer for film, television and video games. Born on 25 November 1971 in Helsingborg, he trained in film scoring at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He began his career as a musician and keyboardist in Stockholm, producing and writing for pop acts, before moving into film music.
From 2009 he collaborated closely with composer Johan Söderqvist. Their joint work includes the television series The Bridge (Bron, four seasons, 2011–2018), the Department Q films The Keeper of Lost Causes (2013) and The Absent One (2014), and video games such as Battlefield 1 (2016) and Battlefield V (2018). Andrén has also composed for titles including ARC Raiders.
He shared a win for Music in a TV Series at the 2012 Biarritz International Festival of Audiovisual Programming for The Bridge, and received the 2017 SKAP Film and Game Music Award (shared with Söderqvist).
