Biography
Patti Austin is an American singer, songwriter and occasional actor. Born on 10 August 1950 in Harlem, New York, she made her stage debut as a child at the Apollo Theatre and later appeared in stage productions including Lost in the Stars and Finian's Rainbow.
She is credited as Millie in the 1988 film Tucker: The Man and His Dream and appeared as herself in the 2013 documentary 20 Feet from Stardom. Austin has also performed on television series such as Magic City.
