Biography
Paul Cornell is a British writer born on 18 July 1967 in Chippenham, Wiltshire. He has written for television drama and Doctor Who fiction, creating the spin-off companion Bernice Summerfield.
His television credits include episodes of the 2005 revival of Doctor Who ('Father's Day' in 2005 and the two-part 'Human Nature'/'The Family of Blood' in 2007, adapted from his 1995 novel), Elementary, Primeval, Robin Hood, Casualty, Holby City and Coronation Street. He has also written numerous Doctor Who novels for Virgin Publishing and BBC Books in the 1990s, audio dramas for Big Finish Productions, and comics for Marvel, DC and other publishers.
