Biography
Paul Dubov was an American actor and screenwriter. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he began his career in radio and film in the late 1930s and appeared in numerous television series from the 1950s onwards.
He frequently worked with director Samuel Fuller, with film roles including Scott in High Noon (1952), Judge Macy in Forty Guns (1957), Dr. Menkin in Shock Corridor (1963) and Andre in Irma la Douce (1963). His television credits include appearances in I Love Lucy, Perry Mason and The Twilight Zone.
Dubov also wrote for television, often collaborating with his wife Gwen Bagni, whom he married in 1963. Together they developed the series Honey West (1965–1966) and contributed scripts to Burke's Law. He received an Emmy nomination for his writing on the miniseries Backstairs at the White House (1979).
