Biography
Paul Eckstein was an American actor, writer and producer. Born in New York City on 11 September 1963, he graduated from Brown University with degrees in international relations and creative writing. He was a founding member of the Naked Angels Theatre Company and appeared in stage productions in New York and elsewhere.
His acting credits include the paramedic in Se7en (1995), roles in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993) and Star Trek: Voyager (1995), and appearances in Law & Order (1990) and Hoodlum (1997), on which he also served as co-producer. He later wrote and produced series including First Wave (1998), Narcos (2015) and Godfather of Harlem (2019), which he co-created. Eckstein died on 6 June 2023.
