Biography
Paul Hittscher was an actor. He played Captain 'Orinoco Paul' in Werner Herzog's Fitzcarraldo (1982). He appeared as himself in the documentary Burden of Dreams (1982) about the film's production, and archive footage of him features in My Best Fiend (1999).
