Biography
Paul L. Jacobson was an American writer and producer. He worked in television production, including as a unit manager on the children's series Howdy Doody, before forming his own company, Jalor Productions, to move into feature films.
Jacobson originated the story for the 1964 science-fiction comedy Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, on which he also served as producer. The screenplay was written by Glenville Mareth and the film was directed by Nicholas Webster. It was shot on Long Island over a short schedule and low budget, and distributed by Embassy Pictures. Jacobson died on 10 July 2015 in Port Washington, New York.
