Biography
Paul Manning was an American television writer and producer. He trained at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles and began his career as a writer and story consultant on the series L.A. Law (1986).
He joined the production of ER (1994) in its first season as co-producer and writer, later becoming producer and supervising producer across the first three seasons. He contributed to numerous episodes as writer or story author, and returned as a writer for the fifth season. Manning shared a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series for ER in 1996. He subsequently developed pilots and worked as consulting producer on Clubhouse (2004).
