Biography
Paul Rudnick is an American playwright, screenwriter and novelist. He was born on 29 December 1957 in Piscataway, New Jersey, and graduated from Yale University. He began his career writing novels and plays, including I Hate Hamlet (1991) and Jeffrey (1993).
Rudnick wrote the screenplay for the film Addams Family Values (1993). His other screen credits include Sister Act (1992, as Joseph Howard), In & Out (1997) and The Stepford Wives (2004). He has also written film criticism for Premiere magazine under the pseudonym Libby Gelman-Waxner.
