Biography
Paul Sarossy is a Canadian cinematographer. Born on 24 April 1963 in Barrie, Ontario, he studied film at York University, graduating with a B.F.A. in 1986. He has served as director of photography on numerous feature films, including long-term collaborations with director Atom Egoyan on titles such as Exotica (1994), The Sweet Hereafter (1997), Felicia's Journey (1999), Chloe (2009), Remember (2015) and Seven Veils (2023).
Sarossy is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers, the British Society of Cinematographers and the Canadian Society of Cinematographers. He directed the feature film Mr. In-Between (2001). He is married to actress Geraldine O'Rawe and is the son of cinematographer Ivan Sarossy.
