Biography
Paul Trejo is an American film and television editor. Born on 23 July 1953, he began his career in documentary editing at a PBS affiliate in New Jersey before moving to New York City. There he worked at Maysles Brothers Films and R/Greenberg Associates, and served as an assistant editor and sound editor on features, collaborating with editors including Barry Malkin.
He later relocated to Los Angeles to focus on picture editing. His early credits in that role include episodes of the original Twin Peaks series, Coneheads (1993) and Radioland Murders (1994). Trejo is a member of the American Cinema Editors.
His subsequent work includes editing on Green Street Hooligans (2005), Unknown (2006), Bates Motel (2013), Black Sails (2014–2017), Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2018), Carnival Row (2019), Locke & Key (2020) and multiple episodes of Foundation (2021–).
