Biography
Paul Wayne (born Paul Weinberg) is a Canadian screenwriter. Born on 17 January 1932 in Toronto, he wrote episodes for numerous American television series from the 1960s onwards.
His credits include work on Bewitched (1964), The Andy Griffith Show (1960), All in the Family (1971) and Benson (1979). With writing partner George Burditt, he contributed to the first three seasons of Three's Company (1977) and episodes of Sanford and Son (1972). He also wrote sketches for variety series including The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, for which he received an Emmy Award in 1969, and The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour.
