Biography
Paul Webb is a British screenwriter and playwright. He is known for writing the screenplay for the 2014 film Selma.
Webb previously worked as a teacher in Reading, Berkshire, and as a consultant in the petrochemical industry before turning to writing in his fifties. He wrote the play Four Knights in Knaresborough, staged in London in 1999.
Webb also contributed to the 2017 BET miniseries Madiba. For Selma, he received the Central Ohio Film Critics Association Award for Best Original Screenplay and a nomination for the Satellite Award for Best Original Screenplay.
