Biography
Paul William Davies is a television writer, creator and producer. He created and wrote the eight-episode Netflix series The Residence (2025), a Shondaland murder mystery set in the White House, and served as its showrunner and executive producer.
Davies created the ABC legal drama For the People (2018–2019) and wrote multiple episodes. He contributed to Scandal (2012) as a writer, story editor and executive story editor across 2014–2017, and wrote two episodes of Betrayal (2013). He is from Oakland, California.
