Biography
Peggy Simpson (born Constance Mary Marguerite Simpson) was a British actress. She was born on 4 July 1913 in Leeds, Yorkshire, and died on 5 January 1994 in Camden, London.
She appeared in films from the early 1930s to 1960, including The 39 Steps (1935) as the Jordans' maid and Young and Innocent (1937) as a bathing girl. Other screen credits include Darby and Joan (1937), Dentist in the Chair (1960) and No Kidding (1960). She also performed on stage, including in the Broadway production of Bachelor Born (1938).
