Biography
Pêpê Rapazote, also credited as Pedro Rapazote or Pedro Fernandes, is a Portuguese actor born on 10 September 1970 in Lisbon. He graduated in architecture from the Technical University of Lisbon and worked in that field before turning to acting. He began with amateur theatre and made his professional debut around 2000.
He is known for his role as Chepe Santacruz Londoño in the Netflix series Narcos (2017) and appearances in Narcos: Mexico, as well as for Shameless (2011) as Nando, Operation Finale (2018) as Carlos Fuldner, and Turn of the Tide (2023) as Uncle Joe. Rapazote has also worked in Portuguese television, including Laços de Sangue and Pai à Força. He is married to actress Mafalda Vilhena.
